It looks like someone reworked the site format... Zack? Justin? Does this mean we're gonna get this forum rolling again?

whether or not a fresh coat of paint is enough to revive 'er, no idea.
I'd like to hear what you've been up to though.

Been doing the full-time school gig working towards an A.A.S. in Horticulture Technology, taking a bunch of workshops (RUST with Scott Kellogg up at the Radix Center in Albany, a Forest Gardening Intensive with Eric Toensmeier, etc.), doing lots of research for my forest garden and other things (helped out with some research material for Dave Jacke's upcoming book on coppice agroforestry), getting the design phase done for my property here, and just hanging out. I'm thinking about starting a community composting service - basically providing people with a compost bucket, and for maybe something like $15 a month, coming by once a week to pick up their compostable material & yard waste. At some point I would likely be able to offer compost for sale to gardeners, etc. I'm also continuing to do freelance garden/landscape design & maintenance as I get the time & opportunity. What are you up to?

less noble pursuits, for sure.

community composting sounds like a great idea, if it's still an ether-based project you might look into these guys for ideas and inspiration:

and I lied. I'm almost certain a paintjob isn't enough to revive 'er.
but. it's a good start.

Yeah, its been pretty dead around here, after the initial surge of interest & postings. But then, I haven't been promoting it as I should, I guess. I'd love to see more activity around here.
