I am planning on getting a portable sawmill to produce treated posts, so I have looked into different types of treatment. Boric acid seems to be the most environmentally friendly. Does anyone have experience or knowledge of treating wood or know of other relatively safe methods? This is a new project for me to sustainably use the timber on my parents' land.
